BTW, OpenDNS is an outstanding service and I recommend it to everyone!!! I run a business and as many business owners or anyone with any sort of credibility, the last thing we need to be concerned with are security threats to our basic infrastructure through such a necessary tool (the internet). OpenDNS provides protection against this ever increasing threat with minimal effort on the user end. Increased security, super fast name resolution, great stability....out of curiosity how is such service funded/provided?

If I am asked to update/verify an account, I don't "proceed with caution." I manually open a browser and navigate to my account without the assistance of the provided link. So unless the phishers have taken over whatever domain I'm trying to reach, they are out of luck.

I've just started using OpenDNS - wow, this service rocks! And this PhishTank stuff is just great too. I hope I'm IT-literate enough to spot a phishing attempt, but I can't say the same for other people around me. For a phishing scam to be blocked right from the get-go is fantastic and a big relief too - anything that helps to mimimize the risk is A Good Thing.
