Chances are, the context rings familiar for you: he’s made a tweak to his Dad’s router — set up OpenDNS — and is trying to explain it. (”No, Dad. It has nothing to do with Microsoft Word. I have no idea why Microsoft Word is acting up…”)

There are Linux, Unix, and even Nintendo Wii instructions available at
http://www.opendns.com/start/
The Gift of Safe recipients weren’t expected to need instructions on BIND or Windows Server 2003 or SUSE Linux, but all are available.
