All that happens when account-less prefs are disabled is that those using OpenDNS from those IP addresses will get the default preferences: typo correction and phishing prevention on. It doesn't affect me really, since I already have an account, but for the old timers and less-tech saavy, who figured it's a "set and forget" service, they might not keep up to date on the opendns side of things.
