Thanks to Seg for helping us put together instructions for setting the Nintendo Wii to use OpenDNS.
Whether you’ve had DNS issues with your Wii in the past and need something more reliable, or you just want to speed up performance and safeguard against future outages, switching to OpenDNS will do the trick.
Note: if your console is connected to the Internet via WiFi router, we’d recommend changing the settings on your router instead of the Wii itself.

in openDNS,the www.sina.com.cn ’s dns is new.sina.com.cn,but they are two different host!!!!

I’ve noticed that the Wii instructions are now not linked from the Getting Started page–so the only way to get to them is from the link in this blog post. Yes, you can always set the DNS servers for the Wii by doing it through your router, but maybe some people who don’t use a router may find those instructions helpful.

Yeah I notice that too! I get redirected to the Getting Started page and I didn’t found the Wii instruction until I serch on Google.
